Why choose the BoxMe drilling machine
Today we will talk in-depth about the BoxMe steel drilling machine for plasterboard wall pillars and why customers love it. The message customers send us after buying it is always the same:
“A pity I didn’t try it earlier!”
Here are some examples:
Manual steel drilling machine for plasterboard wall pillars BoxMe: why customers love it
The BoxMe steel drilling machine is very easy to use and will save you a lot of time: this is the feedback given by all customers who have purchased the tool.
Most professionals have bought the BoxMe steel drilling machine (see here) because of the convenience of drilling the holes for the pipes on the pillars and rails in line with the installed boxes. Think of the need for plumbers to give an angle to the drains of air conditioning systems!
Thanks to this tool, it is the professional electrician, plumber or plasterboarder who chooses how many holes to drill and, above all, the height at which they want to make them. If they have to drill two pillars side by side, it’s not a problem: they can do it easily, just as they can drill the corners (the drilling machine comes with the parts to do this!).
An equally important advantage is that the pipes will benefit from less tortuous paths and, above all, the hole will have rounded edges that will facilitate the sliding of the corrugated material.
Thanks to the BoxMe patent, in fact, the drilling machine avoids damaging the pipes and the cables that pass through them because at the moment of drilling the pillar is bent outwards, leaving only the smooth part of the deburring in contact with the corrugated pipe, thus avoiding possible tearing or damage during installation of the electrical system in the plasterboard wall.
The burrs, formed as a result of the drilling, accommodate and support the passage tubes. On the contrary, this does not happen with standard holes.
Once the corrugated pipe has been pulled through, you can use the BoxMe burr pliers and fold the burrs around the corrugated pipe. By surrounding it with duct tape, you will not only lock the pipe to the post, which will not come off in case of subsequent interventions, but you will also gain safety (we talk about this topic here).
More useful information on the BoxMe drilling machine. The hole diameter obtained by our tool is about 32 millimetres and making it bigger results very easy. With the aid of a hammer handle it is possible to achieve a diameter of about 50 millimetres, as illustrated in this video:
“We have always been using the classic hole saw!”, “The hole saw is much cheaper”: these are some of the objections we have been receiving over the years.
Here is our answer: the BoxMe drilling machine does not wear out as much as a traditional hole saw. Besides, the execution of the holes in the pillars of plasterboard walls is much quicker and easier.
Try it for yourself. And remember: all BoxMe products are designed and manufactured by electricians for electricians, plumbers, drywallers and, in general, for all those who need to make a hole in a plank (also for telephone and Internet installations).
